my project cost? A: The 'how much' question is one of
the most legitimate questions. It's very
important for the general contractor to be
able to be competitive; we will do
everything possible to be competitive in our
quotation.
Q: What
qualifications do the folks at The
Woodchucker have?
A:
Over three decades of
experience in commercial and residential
work. We are members of the Architectural
Woodwork Institute and are also certified in
premium casework and millwork.
Q: How long does
it take deliver a finish product? A: Normally,
between 8 and 10 weeks. However, the
woodchucker understands that time is of the
essence to the home owner. Similarly, a
timely finish is of utmost importance to a
general contractor to coordinate work
between the various trades on a job. The
Woodchucker has never been penalized for
lateness on any job.
Q: Do you
charge for estimates? A: The
Woodchucker does not charge for estimates.
We will gladly visit your site at your
convenience, days or evenings, with
reasonable advance notice.
Q: What kind of
insurance to you carry? A: The Woodchucker is fully covered
for product liability. Furthermore, we are
fully covered for workman's compensation.
Q: When can you
start on my project? A: The
Woodchucker can start after a contract has
been signed and a deposit has been made.
Normally, the job will be scheduled for
completion within 8-10 weeks. Any job is
dependant upon prior scheduling. The
Woodchucker policy is to serve clients on a
first come, first serve basis. We will not
bump projects in favor of other projects
except for emergency situations which will
be charged accordingly.
Q: What kind of
guarantee to you offer? A: We
guarantee all work for one year under normal
use.
